Awkward.

I recently rediscovered my wide angle lens. I know these shots are lacking picture quality (I need to stop using ISO 1600 all the time...), but I simply love the look.

Raindrops.

The day after, I found myself waiting for Nicolas in the car while rain was hammering on the windows. This is how I entertained myself.

The big C.

The other day I enjoyed myself taking photos of Carsten after a play at Maxim Gorki theatre. He liked it, too. Such a poser!

The top.

I need to make a portfolio of my best works. Any suggestions? Please? No time for thinking!

Edit:
Thanks to everyone who helped!

It's called "work".

I put all the "procrastination!"-screaming devils under my pillows the other day and started writing my BA thesis. So pictures might be rare for some time. But probably not.

Revisited.

Sometimes, when flipping through the photos after putting them on the
computer, you just miss some good ones and then forget about them.
With a hangover, I reviewed some of my 2008 photography today and
found some precious pictures I didn't even know they existed.

This is my Grandfather Alexander. Now living on the beautiful island of Tenerife to enjoy retirement, he used to be a journalist for Spiegel and Capital back in the days and probably is one of the wisest and funniest persons I know. If there's any talent in my blood for writing, I got it from him and I might also have inherited a little bit of my dirty humor from this great gaffer. Sadly, we see each other way under. A fact that I am planning to improve by visiting him and his wonderful wife this spring. Anyway, he writes me tales, stories and recipies (you should try his famous pepper steak!) by email on a regular basis and is indeed one of my kindest advisors these days.

Please note his fabulous suspenders by 90's artist James Rizzi!

Frost.

It is so freaking cold out that you can not think straight as soon as you
are on the street.

I'm wondering if my camera didn't get damaged by that freezing wind.

Everything's new.

I made a new blog. Not because I want to move, but to show it off to
clients as a more professional portfolio, so they don't have to browse
through my whole life to get a glimpse. Besides photo collections you
will also be able to read texts that I wrote as a journalist (in German).
It's not perfect yet, so don't be too critical.

I also cleaned up my room and redecorated it. I finally made prints of
some of my pictures! And they're up the walls all over the place now.
I have some left and I am planning to do more... So if you'd like to buy
prints, you're welcome to contact me.

Just write me an email for details.

I wish you all the best for the new year.
