2012 and me are warming up now. Tons of opportunities right there, but nothing's sure yet. Let's see.

Today I shared a >>photo<< I took last August during a thunderstorm on >>facebook<< and a "lovely" young man insisted it wasn't mine and that I had stolen it from who-knows-who. It was quite easy to prove him wrong but I'm still angry and shocked he even contemplated (or probably just played a mad joke on me). Considering he only seemed to have fake friends, it was probably a fake profile in the end, but things like this can push your blood pressure up to an uncomfortable level.

Let's never give reasons to question again, let's always credit and never steal. I have found so many of my photos untagged, uncredited, unmentioned and usually people don't even get the point when I complain about it. Whenever I use someone else's photo, I give notice if possible and always credit their name or source.

Please do the same. It's as easy as this:

I've been pretty busy enjoying December and trying to find back into a routine in Berlin. It's the first time in months I actually stayed in one place (home) for a while and I'm catching up on gossip and going out as well.

Forgive me for not sharing too much, but being back and being home doesn't really inspire me to take photos right now. Anyway, I've got much more time all of the sudden, as my new computer is so super fast that I only need to work half the hours now.

If you like, today and tomorrow are the last days I take Christmas orders for prints (only fuji chrystal archive paper, no fancy extra-würste). Just look around (also check out >>Facebook<< if my blog is too full for you) send me an >>email<< (to carolinweinkopf@gmail.com) with a screenshot of what you like. I'll place my last order tomorrow (sunday) night. All prints will be signed and numbered and shipped to reach you before Christmas (only within Germany). I'll give a student discount and you'll also save some €€ if you order more than one.

Next wednesday >>iheartberlin<< and >>smart-urban-stage<< will open a one-night physical and a permanent online-exhibition showing animated gifs by twelve Berlin based photographers and artists. I am honored to be one of them and hope to see you all on wednesday, december 14th from 7pm til late at HBC, Karl-Liebknecht-Str. 9 in Berlin-Mitte.

Since I don't want to show my piece just yet, enjoy my biking animation from last summer.
