The only really rainy day in New York I used to do the really touristy stuff. The Empire State Building was surrounded by fog and I was almost by myself up there. Lovely.

Whenever I go elsewhere I feel most ashamed about my co-Germans. These tourists going crazy on Wall Street in the rain were quite lovely anyway.

In April the sun came out and I climbed up on the roof with Friedi. Guess who won the smiling-competition against the sun!?

Leaving New York is never easy. I got back to Berlin this morning, fought a liquid war against the jetlag (in words: coffee!) and broke all records in yawning to make it through the day. And now? Now, I can't sleep.

I guess I'll just never sleep again then. I miss New York.

Before leaving for my New York City Trip I spent a whole rainy afternoon with this lovely young lady. The tomato girl is still my favourite picture of actress Klara Manzel, but not the only one I fell in love with.

After some stressful weeks I decided to take a time-out in the Lueneburg Heath this weekend. I got blisters and a sunburn, got lost in the woods, slept in the ugliest but loveliest hotel(room) I've ever seen and met some very friendly animals. Thank you, Nicolas.
