Changing Lanes.

What is all this steam coming out of the streets all over? All I know is that it looks kind of cool.

Easterkitsch.

I went to DC last weekend, gained 15 pounds in two days and want to give you a wise advice: don't ever take the China Town Bus unless you're crazy. What took me five hours on my way there took me ten hours and all my nerves going back. This is some kitsch I found in the Stoddard's backyard.

A long way home.

A walk through Greenwich, Tribeca, Financial District to Brooklyn Bridge. Afterwards, dead and deep frozen, the subway took me home.

Williamsburg.

I think I actually have gotten to the point where I believe I can say without any doubt: I'm having a great time.

Also finally, I took some pictures. If these look weird to you, please let me know. I got the new version of iPhoto and I hate it. Totally confusing and my favorite functions are just gone.

Went to Williamsburg this weekend to see my hostsisters. I'm hungover and happy.

As usual.

Everytime I travel everything seems to go perfect, but then something weird happens and ruins the start. Leaving JFK airport last night, I called Nicolas and said it was unbelievable but nothing had happened so far. Well, half an hour later I forgot one of my bags in the cab and felt totally different. A bag full of gummibears and the mixtape mp3-player Nicolas gave me for the trip. I'm glad I have my passport and cell phone, but it still sucks.

New York is gorgeous though. Last night's glimpse was beautiful, but today it's warm and the sun is coming out every once in a while. I got up early and walked half of Manhattan, saw lot's of different areas and sat in Central Park for a bit, where the lakes were still frozen up.

I bought myself food and almost feel home. A strange but nice feeling.

I was so annoyed of crazy tourists that I didn't dare to take many pictures. But there are some to come.

Shoreditch couch potatoes.

So I'm back from London after a horrible almost over-night flight with Ryanair. Never book the flight at 6:25 from Stansted to Schönefeld and don't ever think you could make up for that lost sleep on the aircraft. You'll be shouted at by speakers multiplying the sound of the so called flight attendants that are actually carnival barkers trying to sell you useless stuff like priority seating, overpriced busrides and a bad collection of perfume.

I got up at 2:40 because Nicolas forgot his cellphone clock wasn't adjusted to GMT. We wondered why our cab wasn't there and why noone at the service answered their phone...

Besides the quite stressful trip home we had a wonderful time with Rosie, Uwe and a deadly couch from the 80's. After a one of a lifetime awesome but horrible shopping tour through Primark and Topshop that couch was the best spot to chill on, heal my blisters and sneak a peak on Shoreditch's beautiful Hoxton Square from the breathtaking apartment where we were welcomed in by our kind hosts.

I was so exhausted I didn't even take a lot of pictures. We had fun though: Long walks through the beauty of London, Camden, Youtube dancing, great vietnamese food, bars, cafés, Broadway Market, tortillas, Brick Lane, Columbia Road flower market, good movies and so much more.

Once again I've discovered that Berlin isn't exactly the belly botton of the world. I need to make tons of money so I can travel more.

Melted.

It's been snowing for days and the only spot in the city where the snow actually melts instead of packing up is on the windows of my car.

There's no end near.
Radio-G even wrote about this freaky phenomenon.

I'm a little pissed about the "tidiness"-comment. I'll photoshop this tidy.
And I'll be rich (?).
